OmniOps Secures $8 Million to Expand AI Infrastructure Solutions in Saudi Arabia

OmniOps, Saudi Arabia’s pioneering AI Infrastructure Technology provider, has successfully closed a SAR 30 million (around $8 million) funding round, led by GMS Capital Ventures. This investment will enable OmniOps to scale operations, boost research and development, and advance AI infrastructure within the Kingdom.

Founded in 2024 by Saudi entrepreneur Mohammed Altassan, OmniOps focuses on delivering energy-efficient, cloud-native high-performance computing (HPC) clusters tailored to client needs. The company is also developing a sovereign AI Inference cluster integrated with cutting-edge Machine Learning Operations (ML Ops) features, aiming to streamline AI deployment for enterprises and government entities.

Altassan emphasized the company’s commitment to helping clients reduce GPU power consumption by 50%, double workload speed, and increase GPU inference efficiency by up to 14 times, offering a significantly improved total cost of ownership.

OmniOps’ success aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, with a strategic focus on data sovereignty and AI technologies in sectors like government, healthcare, and aviation. Supported by key partners, including NVIDIA, Google Cloud, and IBM, OmniOps continues to enhance the nation’s AI capabilities.
