MoHESR Launches AI-Powered Edu Hub for UAE Students

Edu Hub student admissions platform

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) has launched an upgraded version of Edu Hub, its higher education registration and admissions platform. Enhanced with artificial intelligence, the platform simplifies the process of exploring universities, selecting academic programs, submitting applications, and planning future studies. Moreover, the platform was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, allowing students to access integrated school and higher education data when making academic decisions.

Improved User Experience and Personalized Student Pathways

The updated Edu Hub features a redesigned interface focused on simplicity and accessibility. In addition, it offers dedicated dashboards for students, schools, and higher education institutions. The platform aligns with international best practices while supporting government efforts to improve service efficiency, reduce bureaucracy, and encourage innovation across the higher education sector.

Amani AlBannay, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector, and Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Higher Education Operations Sector at MoHESR, said that, “The updates to the platform mark an important step in enhancing the efficiency and speed of the entire application and registration procedures at higher education institutions. Students can easily modify and update their applications, making the registration process more efficient and seamless.”

“In line with our commitment to achieve the objectives of the Zero Government Bureaucracy program, we continue to work with the Ministry of Education, higher education institutions, and our industry and academic partners to leverage modern technologies and integrated data to enhance the student journey and ensure a smooth experience throughout all phases of higher education,” AlBannay noted.

The platform also provides tailored features based on academic level. Grade 10 and Grade 11 students can explore institutions and programs early, helping them plan future studies. Meanwhile, Grade 12 students and graduates can complete the entire admissions process online, upload documents, track applications, and submit multiple applications without repeatedly entering personal information.

Integrated Ecosystem Supports Students and Institutions

Edu Hub integrates with the Ministry of Education, UAE PASS, and other government systems. Consequently, students can verify information and complete registration requirements more efficiently. The platform also supports a broad network of stakeholders, including academic advisors, schools, universities, and government entities.

Currently, 74 public and private higher education institutions participate in the platform, including the UAE’s three federal universities. Furthermore, authorities expect more than 40,000 students to benefit during the current phase while additional institutions join the system.

Alongside the launch, MoHESR introduced dedicated business and technical support services for universities. These measures include direct communication channels, technical assistance, and regular coordination meetings. As a result, institutions can address challenges quickly while maintaining smooth admissions operations. Through these initiatives, Edu Hub strengthens student services, improves operational efficiency, and supports the continued development of higher education across the UAE.
