Meta Launches Muse Image AI Across Instagram, WhatsApp and Meta AI

Meta Muse Image AI interface

Meta has begun rolling out Muse Image, a new image-generation model, as it accelerates efforts to compete in the rapidly expanding generative AI market. Notably, this release marks the first image model from its Superintelligence Labs unit. As competition intensifies, the company is positioning the tool as both a consumer feature and a commercial asset.

Integration Across Apps

The model is now available داخل the Meta AI chatbot, and it will expand across social platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp. Users can generate images from text prompts, while they can also modify existing visuals with simple instructions. In addition, Instagram is introducing more than 30 new AI-powered effects in Stories built on the same model. As a result, the rollout strengthens the integration of generative AI into everyday social interactions.

Expanding Use for Advertisers

At the same time, the company is extending Muse Image to advertisers, signaling a clear monetization strategy. Advertisers will soon use the model to create marketing visuals, while its visual reasoning capabilities enable multiple variations from a single concept. Furthermore, the system can interpret creative direction and refine outputs automatically, which improves campaign efficiency. As demand for AI-driven advertising grows, this move aims to attract both brands and content creators.
