Magna AI, Arabic.AI Strengthen Sovereign AI

Magna AI Arabic.AI partnership signing

Magna AI has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Arabic.AI to accelerate the development and deployment of sovereign Arabic AI capabilities across Saudi Arabia. The partnership combines AI infrastructure with Arabic-native intelligence to support the Kingdom’s digital transformation goals. Consequently, organizations will gain access to AI solutions designed specifically for the Arabic language, culture, and regulatory requirements.

Magna AI, established through a partnership between Trend Micro and Wistron Digital Technology Holding Company and powered by NVIDIA, will contribute its AI infrastructure, security, governance, and deployment expertise. Meanwhile, Arabic.AI will provide Arabic-first AI technologies, including a sovereign Arabic large language model, agentic AI platforms, intelligent assistants, translation, optical character recognition, and speech capabilities.

Partnership Combines Infrastructure and Arabic Intelligence

The agreement brings together two complementary parts of the AI ecosystem. Therefore, Magna AI will enable organizations to build, deploy, and operate secure AI environments, while Arabic.AI will deliver language models and applications tailored to Arabic-speaking users.

The companies will also collaborate on sovereign AI infrastructure, AI Factory development, secure AI operations, AI transformation services, workforce training, and joint go-to-market initiatives. In addition, the partnership aims to help governments and enterprises deploy production-ready AI that understands Arabic language, regional dialects, and local cultural context.

Dr. Moataz BinAli, Chief Executive Officer of Magna AI, said, “Saudi Arabia is building national AI capabilities at a pace very few countries can match, and the infrastructure supporting this progress must be sovereign, secure, and governed. But sovereign infrastructure is only one part of the equation. It must run intelligence that genuinely understands the language, context, and needs of the communities it serves. Our collaboration with Arabic.AI addresses this important dimension. By combining Magna AI’s integrated AI transformation capabilities with Arabic.AI’s Arabic-first technologies, we aim to support Saudi Arabia’s ambition to deploy secure, sovereign, and production-ready AI at scale.”

Supporting Saudi Arabia’s AI Vision

Nour Al Hassan, CEO of Tarjama and Arabic.AI, emphasized the importance of building AI specifically for Arabic-speaking communities. She said, “AI for the Arabic-speaking world must be built with Arabic at its core. For nearly two decades, through Tarjama, we have worked at the intersection of Arabic language and technology. That expertise is now embedded into a sovereign Arabic large language model built for governments and enterprises across the region.”

“Through our partnership with Magna AI, we aim to combine Arabic-first intelligence with the infrastructure, platforms, and operational capabilities required to deliver meaningful impact across Saudi Arabia,” Al Hassan added.

As Saudi Arabia continues expanding its sovereign AI strategy, demand for locally governed AI platforms continues to grow. Consequently, the Magna AI and Arabic.AI partnership strengthens the country’s ability to develop secure, Arabic-native AI solutions while supporting Vision 2030 and long-term digital innovation.
