M42 has launched Beyond Bounds, a global healthcare platform that brings experts together to examine the future of medicine.
The platform brings together scientists, researchers, policymakers, business leaders and innovators. Together, they will explore developments shaping healthcare, including artificial intelligence (AI), genomics, precision medicine and diagnostics.
Moreover, Beyond Bounds aims to encourage collaboration across countries, institutions and scientific disciplines. The initiative seeks to challenge established approaches and promote new ideas for addressing healthcare challenges worldwide.
Addressing Global Healthcare Challenges
Healthcare technologies continue to expand the ability of health systems to predict, prevent and treat diseases. However, access to these advances remains uneven across populations and countries.
According to M42, more than 80% of genomic clinical studies take place in high-income countries. Consequently, gaps in research, innovation and access to advanced treatments continue to affect healthcare systems worldwide.
Through Beyond Bounds, M42 aims to encourage knowledge sharing and cross-border collaboration. The platform supports the group’s focus on prediction, prevention and precision medicine.
