Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Unveiled at CES 2025
Lenovo has unveiled its groundbreaking ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable Laptop at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Touted as a “first-of-its-kind” device, this laptop features a rollable, vertically expanding display designed to redefine mobile computing.
Developed in collaboration with Lenovo Research, the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 boasts a screen that extends from 14 inches to 16.7 inches, increasing the total display area by nearly 50%. Users can activate the rollable display through a dedicated key or gesture control, seamlessly switching between standard and extended screen modes.
This innovative design aims to enhance productivity for professionals on the go, combining portability with multitasking capabilities. Lenovo highlights its ergonomic benefits, claiming the taller screen reduces strain and promotes better posture for those working long hours.
The laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc graphics, ensuring high-speed performance. It also incorporates Lenovo AI Now, an AI-enabled tool that streamlines workflows and provides personalized task suggestions. Additional generative AI features support content creation and data processing.
The ThinkBook Workspace software enhances functionality further by enabling split-screen use and providing easy access to frequently used apps. The extended screen can also display multiple windows, including a virtual display for meetings, eliminating the need for external monitors.
Lenovo positions this laptop as the “world’s first rollable display AI PC,” combining adaptable design with cutting-edge technology. Alongside the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6, Lenovo showcased other AI-powered devices at CES 2025, including redesigned ThinkPad X9 laptops and high-performance ThinkCentre desktops.
