LEGO Unveils First Official Pokémon Building Sets Ahead of 2026 Global Launch

LEGO Pokémon display building sets

LEGO has announced its first official Pokémon building sets, marking a major crossover for fans worldwide. Moreover, the new range will launch globally on February 27, 2026, with pre-orders already open. The debut collection allows fans to build and display iconic Pokémon using LEGO bricks.

The initial wave draws from Pokémon’s long history. As a result, it represents the first time the franchise appears in traditional LEGO form. Additionally, the focus remains on detailed, display-oriented builds rather than playsets.

Five Pokémon lead the debut collection

The first lineup includes Pikachu, Eevee, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. These characters appear across three main display sets with poseable elements and themed bases. Meanwhile, the designs emphasize visual impact and collector appeal.

Pre-orders are available online through dedicated LEGO and Pokémon platforms. Subsequently, the sets will go on general sale worldwide on February 27, 2026. This rollout ensures broad access for fans and collectors alike.

Display-focused builds and bonuses

One highlight set features Pikachu emerging from a Poké Ball in a dynamic pose. In addition, the build includes a lightning-themed base and hidden details tied to Pikachu’s Pokédex number. Builders can also choose between different display options for added flexibility.

Another large set combines Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise in a single build with thousands of pieces. Furthermore, each Pokémon includes articulation and can be displayed together or separately. The themed base adds environmental details revealed during the build process.

Customers who pre-order the three-Pokémon set through select regional stores will receive a bonus LEGO Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection, while supplies last. Alongside the product launch, a digital scavenger hunt will also run from January 12 to February 27. Participants who complete the challenge can unlock rewards, including a grand prize trip to major Pokémon events in 2026.
