Invest Qatar Partners Brain Co to Accelerate AI Adoption
Invest Qatar and Silicon Valley-based artificial intelligence company Brain Co have signed a partnership to accelerate AI adoption across Qatar’s public and private sectors. The agreement supports Qatar’s digital transformation and technology development plans.
The partnership aims to turn AI opportunities into practical applications. Moreover, it seeks to strengthen Qatar’s position as a regional hub for technology and innovation.
AI Pilot Programmes and Digital Transformation
Under the agreement, Invest Qatar and Brain Co will jointly identify, develop, and support AI initiatives and pilot programmes. These projects will involve government bodies and private-sector stakeholders across the country.
The collaboration aligns with Qatar’s Third National Development Strategy (NDS3) and National AI Strategy. Accordingly, both organisations will focus on applying AI to sector-specific priorities and addressing operational challenges.
Invest Qatar will also support Brain Co’s expansion in Qatar and the wider region. This includes connecting the company with government and private-sector stakeholders, identifying collaboration opportunities, and facilitating engagement with Qatar’s technology ecosystem.
Focus on Local Talent and Industry Applications
The agreement also emphasises talent development and knowledge transfer. In particular, Invest Qatar and Brain Co will collaborate on training, upskilling, and capacity-building initiatives.
These efforts aim to strengthen local AI expertise and prepare Qatar’s workforce for a growing digital economy. Furthermore, the partnership seeks to support the development of local technology capabilities.
Invest Qatar CEO Sheikh Ali bin Alwaleed Al-Thani said the collaboration would contribute to sustainable economic growth, innovation, and workforce development.
Meanwhile, Brain Co plans to build on its existing work in Qatar. The company previously delivered an AI-powered building permit system with the Ministry of Municipality. It has also expanded its work in the energy and healthcare sectors.
Brain Co President of Qatar Business Omid Raghimi identified healthcare, energy, financial services, and regulatory services as key areas of focus. He said the company aims to develop AI products that address challenges facing government organisations and residents.
The partnership builds on Brain Co’s regional expansion plans. During Web Summit Qatar 2026, the company announced plans to establish a flagship office in Doha. Consequently, the new collaboration provides a framework for further engagement with Qatar’s public institutions and businesses.
