In-person Digital Games Conference 2022 comes to Dubai

The 2022 edition of the Digital Games Conference MEA, which will be held as an in-person physical for the first time since 2019, will bring games industry legend Peter Molyneux OBE to Dubai as a keynote speaker.

Tickets for the two-day event, which will take place at Warehouse Four next to LED World in Dubai on the 15 and 16 June, are available here.

Molyneux – the creator of multiple iconic gaming franchises, from Fable and Black & White to Theme Park and Dungeon Keeper – will talk about his award-laden 40-year career at the event, which will also host a variety of other names from across both the regional and international games development and esports sectors.

In a special gaming challenge at the event, attendees will also have the opportunity to win an Xbox console by beating the highest scores set by some of the UAE’s biggest streamers.

The core themes at this year’s DGC are indie development, mobile gaming, regional esports, and ‘beyond gaming’ – a look at the non-traditional gaming brands that are making major moves in the sector.

The stellar lineup includes international and regional speakers from the likes of Riot Games, TikTok, NASR Esports, Yalla Esports, Tamatem Games, Geekay, LVL Group, Bravado Gaming, the UN and many more.
