Priced at AED 1,599, the new smartwatch will be available for pre-order starting today via Huawei’s official website. At the core of the HUAWEI WATCH 5 is the revolutionary Multi-sensing X-TAP system. This industry-first integration of ECG, PPG, and tactile sensors allows for fingertip-based health readings—far surpassing conventional wrist-based tracking. Users can activate “Health Glance” with a 3-second fingertip press, accessing a full report across 11 health metrics, including heart rate variability (HRV), emotional status, and SpO2 levels—all delivered in just 60 seconds.
The standout feature is the smartwatch’s fingertip blood oxygen monitoring, which delivers accurate readings in under 10 seconds thanks to the superior vascular sensitivity of fingertip skin.
