Huawei HMS for Car Partners with Anghami, Nabd for In-Car Content

Huawei signs MOUs with Anghami and Nabd during HDC 2025 event.

Huawei Consumer Cloud Services has signed two new Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Middle Eastern digital leaders Anghami and Nabd during the 2025 Huawei Developer Conference (HDC 2025). These agreements aim to enhance the Huawei HMS for Car ecosystem, offering localized entertainment and informative content solutions for automakers globally.

Strengthening In-Car Entertainment with Anghami’s Regional Expertise

Anghami, the Middle East and North Africa’s (MENA) top music streaming platform, brings a library of over 57 million tracks and deep insights into regional listening habits. Through this new cooperation, Anghami’s content will now be available via HMS for Car, helping automakers offer personalized music experiences tailored for local users.

This partnership builds on a strong history between Anghami and Huawei. Since integrating with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) in 2020, Anghami has expanded its reach through HUAWEI AppGallery. It later launched HarmonyOS apps for Huawei smartwatches, including a version optimized for the HUAWEI WATCH 5 in 2025. Now, its collaboration extends to in-car content, helping automakers develop a localized and robust music ecosystem.

Delivering Personalized News Experiences with Nabd

Nabd, the leading Arabic content platform, will also join the HMS for Car ecosystem. With over 32 million users globally, Nabd provides a diverse range of features from real-time financial data and match scores to weather, video content, and even e-commerce listings.

By integrating with HMS for Car, Nabd will deliver localized news and entertainment directly to vehicle dashboards. Since 2021, Nabd has worked closely with Huawei to integrate HMS media kits and grow brand visibility through AppGallery in MENA. This renewed collaboration strengthens Huawei’s vision of building a truly connected and locally relevant in-car experience.

HMS for Car Innovation Powers a Growing App Ecosystem

While partnerships like those with Anghami and Nabd are vital, Huawei’s own technological strides are equally instrumental. At HDC 2025, the company introduced HMS for Car MAAN 4.0, enabling web-based apps to perform as smoothly as native apps. Combined with the new App Box tool, this advancement simplifies content deployment for partners and elevates the user experience inside connected vehicles.

Looking ahead, Huawei plans to deepen its content ecosystem by forging new alliances with both regional and global digital leaders. With a focus on personalization and seamless integration, HMS for Car aims to offer automakers a comprehensive suite of in-car services that enhance every driving journey.
