Honda Showcases Electric SUV and Sedan Prototypes with Eyes-Off Driving Technology
Honda has unveiled two electric vehicle prototypes, the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. These models represent the next-generation EV lineup in Honda’s 0 Series, which focuses on a “Thin, Light, and Wise” development strategy.
Both vehicles feature sleek designs and advanced technology, including the Asimo OS, a semi-autonomous operating system designed for “eyes-off” driving. Honda aims to become the first automaker to enable fully autonomous driving in all scenarios, redefining mobility experiences.
The Saloon’s design includes a low, sporty build with a sloping hood, tinted windshield, and slim headlights. The SUV offers a more traditional mid-size body, but both prototypes include a digitized dashboard, white seating, and a futuristic purple lighting palette.
The vehicles are slated for production in 2026, with North America as the initial market, followed by Japan and Europe. Honda’s innovations aim to transform the EV landscape and create new possibilities for mobility.
