Google has officially launched Veo 3, its advanced video generation model, for AI Pro subscribers using the Gemini platform across the MENA region. Announced during the company’s annual Google I/O event in May, Veo 3 enables users to produce eight-second videos using only text prompts. Now, thanks to this rollout, creators in the region can bring ideas to life through immersive visuals and native audio generation.
Accessible through the Gemini app, Veo 3 offers users the ability to describe scenes using prompts. In response, the model generates custom videos at 720p resolution, complete with music, dialogue, and sound effects. As a result, the creative process becomes both faster and more intuitive.
Enhanced Audio, Realism, and Prompt Accuracy
One of Veo 3’s standout features is its capacity to generate audio entirely within the model. This includes ambient sounds, effects, and spoken dialogue all synced accurately to the visual scene. Moreover, the tool’s strength lies in its fidelity to user prompts and realism. It maintains accurate physics and high visual quality, allowing for smoother storytelling.
To ensure authenticity and traceability, Google embeds a SynthID watermark into all content created by its generative AI tools, including Veo 3. While this mark remains invisible to most viewers, it supports content verification. Additionally, Google has introduced the SynthID Detector to a limited group of testers and plans to make it more widely available soon.
Visible Watermarking and Future Access
To further enhance transparency, a visible watermark will appear on all videos generated through Veo 3. However, there’s an exception for Ultra members using Flow, Google’s latest AI video production tool. They will continue to receive watermark-free content. Even so, this approach reflects Google’s broader commitment to responsible AI development and content labeling.
With Veo 3 now live across the region, creators can explore a richer, more controlled video generation experience. As access grows and tools evolve, users in MENA will likely find new ways to innovate using AI-generated content.
