Google to Unveil Pixel 10 Series and More on August 20
Google has confirmed that its 2025 Made by Google event will take place on August 20th in New York City at 1 PM ET. In its invitation, the company promised to showcase “the latest on our Pixel phones, watches, buds, and more.” The event will be streamed live on YouTube, with the India pricing reveal set for August 21. The Google Play Store listing has already hinted at launch offers, including exchange bonuses and bank discounts.
Fans can expect the debut of the Pixel 10 lineup, featuring the base Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro, the Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a dustproof Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Rumors also suggest the Pixel Watch 4 will have a bigger battery and slightly thicker body. Although details on new Pixel Buds are scarce, reports point to a budget-friendly Pixel Buds 2a in the works.
Expected Features and Upgrades
The Pixel 10 is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch OLED display, powered by the new Tensor G5 chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage. It may feature a 4,970 mAh battery, along with a 50MP main camera, 48MP ultrawide lens, and 11MP telephoto lens. The Pixel 10 Pro could match the display size but offer higher resolution, a larger battery, and expanded storage and RAM options.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro XL might include a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the same Tensor G5 chip, and a 5,200 mAh battery. Camera specs could include a triple setup with 50MP, 48MP, and 48MP lenses. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is also expected to join the lineup, boasting a larger cover display.
Price Expectations for the Pixel 10 Series
In India, the Pixel 10 could cost around ₹79,990, while the Pixel 10 Pro might be priced near ₹1,10,000. The flagship Pixel 10 Pro XL could reach ₹1,25,000. Official pricing will be confirmed after the launch, so these figures remain speculative. With significant hardware upgrades and new form factors, the Pixel 10 series aims to raise the bar over last year’s Pixel 9 lineup.
