Fender is expanding beyond instruments and amplifiers with the launch of Fender Audio, a new consumer electronics brand debuting at CES 2026. Alongside wireless headphones, the company is introducing ELIE, a line of portable Bluetooth speakers built for flexible, high-output sound.
A new speaker platform under Fender Audio
The ELIE speakers arrive in two sizes and focus on modular use. Both models can pair with a second unit for stereo sound. In addition, users can sync up to 100 speakers to cover larger venues. As a result, the system scales from personal listening to event-level audio. Another defining feature allows playback from up to four audio sources at the same time. These inputs can include Bluetooth devices, wired microphones or instruments, and additional accessories using Fender’s proprietary wireless connection.
ELIE 6: compact size, extended endurance
The smaller model, ELIE 6, stands 7.7 inches tall and costs $299.99. Despite its size, it includes a built-in subwoofer, a full-range driver, and a tweeter. Consequently, it delivers up to 60 watts of output. Battery life reaches up to 18 hours under standard use. Moreover, a short 15-minute charge provides up to 90 minutes of playback, which supports quick turnarounds.
ELIE 12: higher output, wider design
The larger ELIE 12 costs $399.99 and uses a wider 11-inch form factor while standing slightly under 7 inches tall. It doubles the internal components found in the ELIE 6. Therefore, it delivers up to 120 watts of sound. Battery life drops to around 15 hours. However, a 15-minute quick charge adds roughly two more hours of listening, which helps offset the higher power draw.
