With participants from 55 countries and 120 distinguished speakers, the conference highlights the region’s expanding influence in the global digital currency landscape.

Eric Trump, son of the US President-elect, is set to deliver a keynote speech on Bitcoin’s pivotal role in shaping the global economy. His participation underscores the growing significance of digital currencies in driving financial innovation and economic transformation.

Other prominent speakers include Prince Philip of Serbia, who will explore blockchain’s potential for fostering global innovation, and Changpeng Zhao, founder of Giggle Academy, who will delve into blockchain’s applications in education. David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inc., will provide an outlook on Bitcoin’s evolving role in the financial ecosystem.

The conference was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, the UAE’s Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence. In his address, Sheikh Nahyan emphasized the UAE’s dedication to becoming a global hub for technological advancement:

He further highlighted the transformative impact of digital currencies, stating that they symbolize transparency, efficiency, and the broader digital economic shift.
“As digital currencies continue to gain global traction, they have become key symbols of economic digital transformation, driving innovation and financial inclusion. Events like this conference provide vital platforms for collaboration and knowledge exchange, paving the way for economic growth and technological advancement,” Sheikh Nahyan added.

Abdullah Al Dhaheri, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Blockchain Center, elaborated on Bitcoin’s journey since its inception in 2008, noting its rise from a niche concept to a global financial revolution.
