This groundbreaking initiative will create a futuristic digital journey for cabin crew members, new joiners, and industry partners. The XR platform will encompass various features such as 3D virtual hubs, virtual training modules, gamified environments, and simulated experiences.
Powered by AWS spatial computing and artificial intelligence, the iXR platform will offer photorealistic and interactive experiences delivered through cutting-edge wearables and handheld devices, including tablets and mobiles. This ensures a consistent and high-fidelity experience streamed from the cloud. The initial phase of the iXR platform will include three key capabilities: a collaborative hub and social space, cabin crew training modules, and employee onboarding programs.
For new recruits, the immersive virtual world will provide a visual and comprehensive understanding of the Emirates Group, its extensive business operations, corporate culture, and living in Dubai. The platform will enable a truly immersive environment for cabin crew members, allowing them to engage in virtual classrooms, learn from experienced facilitators and peers, and navigate the intricate interiors of Emirates’ flagship aircraft, including the A380s and Boeing 777s. The environment will feature realistic cabin service trainers, virtual avatars, and spatial audio, providing an authentic and sensory-rich training experience.
