A privacy-focused tech company recently updated its subscription plan, which already included a VPN, personal information removal, and identity theft restoration. Now, subscribers can use the latest AI models through Duck.ai without paying extra. This move expands the platform’s value for users who want privacy and advanced AI capabilities.
The Duck.ai chatbot remains free, giving users access to models like Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 Haiku, Meta’s Llama 4 Scout, Mistral AI’s Mistral Small 3 24B, and OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini. With the $9.99 per month plan, users can access newer models, including OpenAI’s GPT-4o and GPT-5, Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4, and Meta’s Llama Maverick.
Advantages of Advanced AI
“These bigger models are better at following detailed instructions, maintaining context through extended chats, and delivering deeper, more nuanced responses. The DuckDuckGo subscription offers a way to use some of these models, but with more privacy,” the company said in a post.
This update is especially helpful for users who want access to multiple AI models without relying on a single provider. For comparison, Quora’s Poe subscription also provides access to a variety of models, starting at $5 per month.
Future Plans and Options
The company says it will continue introducing higher-tier plans that feature larger and more advanced models. However, it has not clarified whether the current plan has usage limits. Subscribers can expect ongoing expansion as the service adds more AI capabilities to its offerings.
