Dubai has secured the eighth spot globally and first in the Middle East in the 2024 Global Power City Index (GPCI), maintaining its top-10 position for the second consecutive year. The index, released by Japan’s Mori Memorial Foundation, underscores Dubai’s leadership in innovation, economic dynamism, and global connectivity.

This achievement highlights Dubai as the only Middle Eastern city in the top 10, reaffirming its status as a global hub for business, talent, and investment.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, credited the success to the visionary leadership of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.

“Dubai consistently redefines possibilities, combining innovation, sustainability, and talent development. This ranking is a testament to our collective efforts to build an environment where businesses thrive, creative ideas flourish, and individuals enjoy an exceptional quality of life,” Sheikh Hamdan stated.
