Dubai Land Department Strengthens Transparency with AI-Enabled Real Estate Advertising Governance

Dubai Land Department uses AI to boost transparency in real estate advertising.
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has shared key results from its AI-powered Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform, which launched during GITEX 2024. The initiative supports DLD’s mission to improve clarity and compliance in property ads across platforms like Property Finder, Dubizzle, and Bayut. It also aligns with the goals of Dubai AI Week, held from April 21 to 25.

AI Ensures Accurate, Reliable Property Listings

Since its debut, the platform has tracked more than 279,000 property listings. Out of these, 29% were automatically corrected using artificial intelligence to meet DLD’s advertising standards. This smart solution helps the Department eliminate misleading content and boost confidence among investors and buyers. Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Real Estate Control Department at RERA, noted the technology’s role in boosting efficiency and market trust.
“These results reaffirm our commitment to improving real estate oversight through innovation. The platform allows us to spot issues faster and maintain Dubai’s reputation as a hub for real estate innovation.”
He also explained that daily AI monitoring helps enforce advertising rules and increases market transparency, making the sector more trustworthy for everyone involved.

QR Code Rule Boosts Ad Authenticity

DLD, through RERA, recently introduced ‘Madmoun’, a digital service under the Trakheesi system. It issues a QR code for every approved real estate ad. Now, all companies must include this QR code in their ads—both printed and online. This requirement allows potential buyers to instantly verify a property’s authenticity. It also proves that the listing is officially approved. By adding this step, DLD ensures that all real estate ads meet the highest standards of accuracy and accountability. The platform and QR system are both part of a larger plan to modernise the real estate sector. These tools reflect Dubai’s vision of becoming a global leader in digital innovation and smart governance, while also supporting its long-term economic goals.
