According to sources familiar with the matter, Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX is initiating a tender offer to sell insider shares at a price that would elevate the company's valuation to around $150 billion. The tender offer is expected to start at $750 million, and the shares are being offered at a price exceeding $80 per share. This valuation represents an increase from the reported $137 billion valuation in January when SpaceX raised $750 million from investors. As of now, SpaceX holds approximately $5 billion in cash on its balance sheet.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Nations (UN) are collaborating on a space initiative that involves the launch of a small satellite on June 27. Known as the PHI-Demo CubeSat, this modular satellite consists of 12 units and will be launched into space via a Russian Soyuz-2 rocket from the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia. The satellite is part of the Payload Hosting Initiative (PHI), a program established by the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs and the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre.

The Arab world's first space mission by a female astronaut has been delayed just days before the historic event was scheduled. Rayyanah Barnawi and her fellow Saudi astronaut Ali Al Qarni were due to blast off to the International Space Centre from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida on May 9. However, the ISS issued a statement on May 5 confirming it was "no longer targeting opportunities in early May" for the mission. No reason has been given for the postponement, but NASA, SpaceX, and Axiom Space are working together to identify a new launch date.
