Bose Expands Ultra Open Earbuds Range with Four Vibrant Spring Colorways
Bose has unveiled four new spring-inspired color options for its popular Ultra Open Earbuds, designed to bring a vibrant touch to wearable tech. The new shades — “Sunset Iridescent,” “Carbon Blue,” “Chilled Lilac,” and “Sandstone” — aim to combine style and functionality, making the earbuds both a fashion accessory and a high-tech device.
Originally launched in February last year, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds were designed to offer an alternative to traditional in-ear models. Instead of sitting inside the ear canal, these clip-on earbuds rest gently on the ears, delivering a natural “transparency mode” by allowing users to stay aware of their surroundings while listening to music or taking calls.
The earbuds are lightweight and comfortable, featuring a weak clamping pressure that ensures long-term wear without discomfort. They provide up to 7.5 hours of battery life on a single charge, with an additional 19 hours available from the charging case. Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility supports seamless pairing, and Android users can benefit from Google Fast Pair. Audio quality is enhanced with Snapdragon Sound Technology Suite and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive codec for hi-res streaming.
Bose initially marketed the Ultra Open Earbuds as a blend of fashion and technology, a concept strengthened by these new colorways. The earbuds are available now on Bose’s official website, priced at $299 USD / £299 GBP.
