AWS Powers ENTERTAINER’s AI-Driven Lifestyle App

AWS and ENTERTAINER AI partnership announcement

Amazon Web Services is enabling a major shift in how digital lifestyle platforms operate through a new collaboration with the ENTERTAINER. As the lifestyle savings app marks its 25th year, it is transitioning from a traditional Buy One Get One Free model into an AI-driven lifestyle companion using AWS cloud and generative AI services. As a result, the platform now focuses on personalization, real-time engagement, and intelligent discovery across its mobile experience.

AI-Powered Lifestyle Discovery and Engagement

At the core of the updated app is H.A.P.I., a bilingual conversational generative AI assistant built on Amazon Bedrock. Through natural dialogue in both English and Arabic, users can explore offers, plan activities, and receive instant assistance. Moreover, the assistant understands intent from open-ended queries, which allows it to suggest tailored experiences such as family outings or daily plans. Consequently, routine support requests are automated, while more complex needs shift to human teams, improving efficiency without losing personal connection.

Intelligent Architecture Built on AWS Services

Behind the scenes, H.A.P.I. coordinates four specialized AI assistants, each designed for a distinct function. For example, a planning assistant curates itineraries, while a search assistant retrieves merchant and offer details. Additionally, a knowledge assistant answers common questions, and an escalation assistant routes advanced queries to customer service teams. To support speed and accuracy, the platform uses an upgraded Amazon OpenSearch cluster with semantic search and vector capabilities. Furthermore, integrations with Amazon Personalize refine recommendations, while Amazon Bedrock Guardrails help maintain safe and relevant interactions.

Expanding Personalized Experiences Across Markets

As artificial intelligence reshapes consumer expectations, this platform redesign signals a broader shift toward AI-first lifestyle services. Over time, the ENTERTAINER aims to deliver greater value by embedding intelligent assistance directly into everyday decision-making. Currently, the AI-powered app is available across multiple markets in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, and Singapore. Ultimately, the collaboration highlights how cloud infrastructure and generative AI can transform loyalty platforms into adaptive, experience-driven digital companions.
