Apple Expands iCloud+ With TV and Arcade
Apple is expanding iCloud+ to include Apple TV and Apple Arcade across more than 100 countries and regions. Eligible iCloud+ subscribers get the new benefits at no additional cost.
The rollout began in September 2026 and will continue through the end of the month. Importantly, the expansion includes the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and India.
For UAE users, the entry-level iCloud+ plan starts at AED 3.99 per month for 50GB. The expanded plan combines cloud storage with entertainment and gaming services.
Apple TV and Arcade Join iCloud+
Under the new offering, iCloud+ subscribers receive access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade without paying separate subscription fees. Users can also share their iCloud+ subscription with up to five family members through Family Sharing.
Apple TV provides access to original series, films, documentaries and family programming. Meanwhile, Apple Arcade offers more than 200 games across supported Apple devices.
The Arcade catalogue includes titles such as Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition. It also includes games such as Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Sneaky Sasquatch.
Apple Arcade also offers games without advertising or in-app purchases. Users can also play supported titles offline across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV 4K.
Apple TV is also expanding into 59 additional countries through the rollout. As a result, the service will be available in 170 countries worldwide.
UAE Users Also Get Apple Music Select
In addition to Apple TV and Arcade, UAE iCloud+ subscribers will receive Apple Music Select. The service provides ad-free stations programmed by Apple Music, including regional selections and themed stations.
However, Apple Music Select does not provide the full on-demand Apple Music catalogue. UAE users who want the complete Apple Music experience can subscribe separately.
Apple has also retained its existing iCloud+ storage and privacy features. These include enhanced privacy tools and services that help users store, back up and share content across Apple devices.
The UAE rollout also changes Apple’s subscription structure. Apple TV and Apple Arcade will no longer be available as individual subscriptions directly through Apple in the UAE.
Existing subscribers will continue receiving access through their iCloud+ plans. Furthermore, Apple says existing Apple Arcade game progress and saved games will remain intact.
What Changes for UAE Apple Users
The new structure gives UAE customers additional services through the entry-level iCloud+ plan. At AED 3.99 per month, the 50GB tier now combines storage with Apple TV and Apple Arcade access.
For customers using Apple One, the change is also significant. Apple will no longer accept new Apple One subscribers in the UAE after introducing the expanded iCloud+ package. Existing Apple One subscribers, however, will continue to receive their current benefits.
Apple is also extending the rollout across other major markets. India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Türkiye are among the countries included in the expansion.
The expansion gives Apple a broader way to distribute its entertainment services while increasing the range of benefits attached to iCloud+. For UAE consumers, the change also places cloud storage, streaming, gaming and curated music stations within a single subscription.
Availability of individual features, content and games can vary by country, region and device. Apple says the expanded iCloud+ offering will complete its rollout across more than 100 countries and regions by the end of September.
