The ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 is now available globally with Intel Panther Lake processors. The new 16-inch laptop offers up to 64 GB of RAM and delivers more than 30 hours of battery life in official tests, thanks to improved power efficiency from Intel’s Panther Lake architecture.
The latest model expands availability across more regions. Additionally, it joins other recent ThinkPad releases that bring newer processors and updated hardware options to business users.
Global Availability and Processor Options
The ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 first appeared earlier in 2026 with Intel Panther Lake processors. However, it has now reached more markets after earlier regional launches in Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia and parts of Europe.
Previously, AMD Ryzen AI 400-powered versions arrived in selected markets. Meanwhile, the Intel-powered variant has continued expanding internationally, although availability still differs by region.
In North America, the laptop replaces earlier Arrow Lake-based models. Furthermore, European customers can configure the device with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 355 processor, alongside up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen4 M.2 2280 storage.
Memory, Battery and Display Features
The ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 supports up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. Moreover, it includes a 57 Wh battery that is rated for over 30 hours of usage under JEITA-BAT 3.0 testing conditions.
However, configurations vary by market. In North America, the laptop is limited to the Core Ultra 5 325 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD option.
Currently, pricing starts at CAD 2,179 in Canada and $1,569 in the US. Meanwhile, UK pricing begins at £1,464, while European prices range between €1,489 and €2,638 depending on configuration.
All available models include a 16-inch IPS display with a 1200p resolution, 400 nits brightness and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, users can choose between touchscreen and non-touchscreen variants.
Business-Focused Design and Availability
The ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 continues Lenovo’s focus on productivity-focused laptops. Furthermore, the combination of high memory capacity, efficient processors and extended battery life makes it suitable for professionals who need reliable performance during long work sessions.
Although specifications differ between regions, the laptop provides modern connectivity, improved efficiency and flexible configuration options. Therefore, it strengthens the ThinkPad lineup as a business laptop designed for demanding users.
