Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) recorded significant growth across its digital channels, reflecting increasing demand for smart mobility and online government services. As digital adoption accelerated throughout 2025, customers completed more than 628 million transactions through RTA’s digital platforms.
Moreover, digital revenues reached AED 5.3 billion, representing a substantial increase compared with the previous year. Digital adoption also climbed to 96 percent, while customer satisfaction levels remained exceptionally high. Consequently, digital services have become a central component of Dubai’s transportation ecosystem.
Mobile Apps and Smart Services Drive Engagement
RTA’s mobile applications played a major role in the growth. Additionally, active users of the RTA Dubai app exceeded 1.2 million during the year. Annual visits to RTA applications reached 68 million, while journey-planning and inquiry requests rose significantly.
The authority also introduced new digital services through its mobile platforms. As a result, customers gained access to a broader range of transport and mobility solutions through a single digital environment. Furthermore, enhancements to the S’hail application expanded service accessibility and improved travel planning capabilities.
RTA continued to strengthen its digital ecosystem through artificial intelligence-powered tools and enhanced online services. Therefore, users benefited from faster service delivery and improved digital experiences across multiple channels.
Expanding Dubai’s Smart Mobility Ecosystem
The authority also reported strong performance across its website, virtual assistant services, smart kiosks, and integrated government platforms. Meanwhile, smart kiosks processed more than one million transactions and generated substantial revenue during the year.
In addition, RTA expanded services across platforms such as Dubai Now and other government digital channels. Consequently, residents and visitors can access transportation services more efficiently through interconnected digital systems.
As Dubai advances its smart city ambitions, RTA continues investing in artificial intelligence, data-driven services, and digital innovation. Therefore, the authority is strengthening its position as a leader in smart mobility while supporting the emirate’s broader digital transformation strategy.
