A revamped version of Siri is expected to debut in the second half of February. This update will highlight new capabilities powered by Google’s Gemini technology. Moreover, the demonstrations will reflect the results of a recently announced AI partnership. As a result, the assistant is set to take a more advanced and conversational form. Meanwhile, the preview signals a long-anticipated step forward for Siri.
iOS Rollout and AI Capabilities
After the February reveal, the updated Siri is expected to arrive with iOS 26.4. Additionally, the software version is scheduled to enter beta testing within the same month. Following that, a public release is planned for March or early April. Importantly, the next-generation Siri will function more like an AI chatbot. Therefore, it will resemble conversational assistants such as ChatGPT in how it responds to users.
Developer Conference and Broader Platform Expansion
Following the late-February demonstrations, a larger unveiling is planned for the annual developer conference in the summer. At that time, Siri currently codenamed Campos will take center stage. Subsequently, Gemini-powered intelligence features are expected to expand across platforms. As a result, beta versions of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 are likely to roll out during the summer. Ultimately, the updates aim to deliver a more unified and intelligent experience across devices.
