Sama X launches Starlink in Bahrain

Sama X has secured a licence from Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority to provide Starlink satellite broadband services across the Kingdom.
As a result, the approval clears the way for high-speed satellite connectivity across Bahrain.
Additionally, the licence positions Sama X as Bahrain’s first local authorised Starlink Enterprise reseller.

Expanding satellite internet across Bahrain

Therefore, Sama X can now deliver high-speed satellite internet to businesses, public sector organisations, and professional users nationwide.
Moreover, the rollout will include offshore and maritime environments within Bahrain’s territorial waters.
The company said the licence supports its Bahrain launch through a locally anchored and flexible business model.
Consequently, this approach aims to simplify access to advanced digital connectivity.
Using Starlink’s low-Earth-orbit satellite constellation, Sama X will offer reliable primary or backup internet solutions.
However, this service will be especially useful in areas where terrestrial networks may be limited.

End-to-end services for enterprise and government users

As an authorised reseller, Sama X will provide end-to-end Starlink solutions for customers across Bahrain.
In addition, the offering includes tailored consultations, installation services, and 24-hour customer support in both English and Arabic.
The company said it designed the services for enterprises, government entities, and critical industries.
Furthermore, the goal is to ensure resilient and continuous connectivity for high-demand users.

Supporting Bahrain’s digital transformation goals

Meanwhile, the Bahrain launch aligns with the country’s Economic Vision 2030, which focuses on digital transformation and sustainable development.
As a result, Sama X said its services will help strengthen reliable internet connectivity as a foundation for national progress.
