Ripple has entered a strategic partnership with Bahrain Fintech Bay (BFB), the Kingdom’s leading fintech hub, to accelerate blockchain and digital asset innovation across the Middle East. The collaboration focuses on strengthening Bahrain’s blockchain infrastructure through pilot projects, educational programs, and innovation events designed to foster long-term financial modernization.

The partnership aims to drive blockchain adoption across multiple industries, with a focus on use cases such as cross-border payments, stablecoins, and tokenization. In addition, Ripple plans to introduce its digital asset custody solution and Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin to local institutions once regulatory approval is achieved. This move aligns with Bahrain’s vision of establishing itself as a leader in digital finance in the region.

Strengthening Bahrain’s Fintech Ecosystem

Through this collaboration, Bahrain Fintech Bay and Ripple will combine their expertise to create a more robust and efficient fintech environment. The initiative is expected to support startups, financial institutions, and regulators by providing access to advanced blockchain tools and real-world applications. Moreover, the partnership will help bridge knowledge gaps in the sector through training programs and innovation workshops.

By enabling wider access to blockchain technology, the partnership encourages financial inclusion and promotes the transition to a more transparent and efficient digital economy. The joint efforts also contribute to building a sustainable fintech ecosystem that supports the Kingdom’s growth ambitions.
