Dubai Unveils Region’s First Fully AI-Powered Autonomous Parking System
Dubai has introduced the region’s first fully AI-powered autonomous parking system, revolutionizing how residents and visitors park across the emirate. Salik Company PJSC, Dubai’s exclusive toll gate operator, partnered with Parkonic and Dubai Holding to roll out this cutting-edge solution. More than 36,000 on-street and off-street spaces across key communities are being upgraded.
This system supports Dubai’s Smart City 2030 and Future Mobility Vision. It removes the need for manual ticketing or barriers. Instead, drivers enjoy automatic entry and exit, multilingual interfaces, and seamless billing. Because of this setup, users no longer need to handle physical tickets or face in-person inspections.
Moreover, the initiative promises real benefits for everyday users. With Parkonic’s intelligent software and Salik’s automatic payment integration, drivers will encounter fewer delays and avoid overstay penalties. Additionally, the system is designed to ease traffic congestion and improve overall urban mobility in the city.
