NextGen Center joins as Knowledge Partner for Innovation Hackathon 2025
The Technology Express, the UAE’s leading technology and innovation magazine under McFill Media & Publishing Group, is proud to announce the NextGen Centre, College of Technological Innovation, as the Knowledge Partner for the upcoming Innovation Hackathon 2025. This collaboration reinforces the event’s mission to cultivate youth innovation, research-driven impact, and advanced learning experiences in the region’s tech ecosystem.
From October 18–20, 2025, the Innovation Hackathon will convene over 300 of the UAE’s brightest students to address vital industry challenges. The signature multi-track format features ten future-focused tracks: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Responsible Innovation, Urban Mobility, Smart Logistics, FinTech, Real Estate & PropTech, Healthcare & MedTech, Web3 & Blockchain, Sustainability & GreenTech, and Retail & E-Commerce.
As the Knowledge Partner, NextGen Centre leverages its expertise, cutting-edge research labs, and industry collaborations to actively guide students with mentorship, curated content, and experiential learning workshops. Known for multi-stakeholder research spanning AI, cybersecurity, sustainability, mobility, and applied data science, NextGen Centre’s direct involvement ensures participants gain vital insights from leading academics, government advisors, and business mentors. Students receive hands-on engagement, professional training, and exposure to real-world problem-solving through the Centre’s support.
Beyond the hackathon’s main competition, the event transforms the venue into a bustling Innovation Hub. All students, regardless of technical background, can engage in interactive workshops, fireside chats, and themed panels focused on technology, leadership, and future-readiness. Sessions are open for walk-in registration, creating an inclusive atmosphere celebrating continuous learning and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
