Set for October 18–20, 2025, the Innovation Hackathon brings together over 300 of the UAE’s brightest student thinkers to solve complex, real-world challenges in technology and design. The hackathon will feature a multi-track format, empowering student teams to tackle authentic issues across ten distinct tracks: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Responsible Innovation, Urban Mobility, Smart Logistics, FinTech, Real Estate & PropTech, Healthcare & MedTech, Web3 & Blockchain, Sustainability & GreenTech, and Retail & E-Commerce.
With ZU College of Technological Innovation recognized as the Innovation Enabler, the event enjoys direct support from one of the UAE’s most future-focused academic institutions, known for championing student creativity, real-world impact, and entrepreneurial ambition. ZU CTI’s engagement with industry experts, government partners, and visionary mentors further ensures participants receive world-class guidance as they work to develop practical, scalable solutions.
Beyond the core hackathon challenge, the campus will be transformed into a lively Innovation Hub. Students from across the UAE are invited to join curated workshops, panel discussions, fireside chats, and interactive experiences designed to explore the forefront of technology, business, policy, and careers. These sessions, led by industry founders and leaders, are open for registration at the venue and offer hands-on opportunities for every attending student—regardless of background or technical skill.
Through its inclusive model, the Innovation Hackathon 2025 aims not just to prototype new solutions, but to ignite curiosity, collaboration, and leadership among tomorrow’s tech pioneers. Application for the hackathon tracks is via the online portal, with student selection based on interest and alignment with the track themes. The wider Innovation Hub program is open for walk-in registration on all days.
